OUR MISSIONARIES

Tad & Jane Hampton - Dakar, Senegal

The HamptonsTad & Jane Hampton along with their children Anna, Allison and Jonathan serve as missionaries in Dakar, Senegal. Senegal is located in West Africa.  The Hamptons are part of United World Missions.

Tad is the property manager of the Beacon of Hope property in Dakar.  The Beacon of Hope is used as a training center for Christian business men all over West Africa.

Jane gives medical attention to the Talibé boys - young boys from 5 to 20 years of age who have come from all over Senegal to study under their Koranic teacher.  These boys live away from their parents and have only the clothes they wear.  Jane, along with a local woman named Antoinette, feed the boys and treat them for scrapes and injuries each morning. Read Jane's latest newsletter on the Talibé ministry (pdf).

Jill Young - Black Forest Academy, Germany

Jill Young teaches English and Social Studies and is the head of the English department at Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany.

Black Forest Academy provides a biblically sound, academically rigorous education to the children of missionaries and other international students. Grades 1 through 12 are taught in English following a North American curriculum. Students come from more than 25 countries, providing an international dimension to the school. As a result, the school takes seriously Christ's command to "go into all the world...".

Jill is also a part of the Janz Team Ministries.  The Janz Team, founded in 1955 by Leo Janz, began in Europe as a gospel broadcast in German over the radio.  With evangelism as its focus, the team offers short-term Bible training in Switzerland, Germany and Russia to train indigenous believers for ministries in their own countries. It also has a LinGO service program that teaches English as a foreign language in Europe and Brazil.

Paul & Carlene Eager - Poland

The EagersPaul and Carlene Eager are serving in Poland as church planters with SEND International.  Their children are Andrew, Aaron and Alaina.

Both Paul and Carlene grew up as missionary children in Indonesia and the Philippines where they trusted Christ as children. They met at Moody Bible Institute as students where they both dedicated their lives for overseas missions.

They arrived in Lublin, Poland on September 16, 2000. They began learning the Polish language and were involved in the Baptist Church in Lublin. They moved to a town on the western part of Poland to begin their first church plant, serving with two other missionaries, called Emmanuel Christian Fellowship.  Paul's focuses are evangelism and evangelism training.  Carlene's focus is Sunday school for children.

In Poland, the priest, church and Pope are the authority, not God. Traditions are their authority, not God's Word. Paul and Carlene want to help Poles understand that they can have a real relationship with Christ and that He wants a relationship with them.

Paul & Erica Simone - HCJB World Radio

Paul Simone provides technical support to various missionaries working with HCJB (Heralding Christ Jesus' Blessings) World Radio. HCJB provides international and local radio programming all over the world.  They also provide TV production, health care, training, evangelism, technical services and publications to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

Marty & Lisa Lohrman - Costa Rica

The Lohrmans are serving with ABWE in Costa Rica as church planters. Their vision is to impact their very rural communities with the Gospel and see the Lord draw all men to himself. They are currently learning the cultural language. They have one son - John.

They thank God for the freedom to share His Word in Costa Rica. The church that their teammates, Paul and Patty Collier started has outgrown its present facility and now has two Sunday morning services in order to accommodate the crowd who are wanting to hear God's Word and of His saving grace.
